Run

From your past, from your future,
From your desires, your own nature,
From your loved, from your enemies,
From all thats close, from all thats true.

Run

Make more distance, it will get you,
Keep going, don’t face what is true,
The truth will leave you in tears,
You don’t need to face your fears.

Run

Don’t stop, you don’t want to understand,
Push harder, run till your breath burns,
Until you are desolate, barren, scorched -
The desert of your own being, and you crawl…

Run

Swifter, Harder, Stronger, Farther,
Away, far far away from your fears,
Far far away from the truth that hurts,
Far far away from all that burns.

Run

Don’t turn around, you will see beauty,
Don’t turn around, you will see truth,
Look at the desolation all around, that
Is all you have. So gather all your might…

Run

Into oblivion, like a coward who never could
Face whats true. Look what you are now,
A shadow of a man. No, don’t think of what
You could have been if you had just stopped.

Just RUN!

This one still needs a lot of work. Rhyming, for example ;) .

The Swing

The wind blew strong through her hair,
The branch swaying slowly, to and fro,
And she went up high, so high in the air,
Leaving her worries far behind, so low.

I saw her face, half concealed, glowing
With perfectly harmonious, exuberant glee,
As if saying to me, without even knowing -
I may be tied to this branch, but I am free.

The Kiss

The cold wind I kiss,
A heartbeat amiss;
Cold, my lips await,
My love’s warm embrace.

My heart goes aflutter,
Separation stings bitter,
My kiss slowly slips away,
Night wearily turns to day.

I lie restless, agitated,
My feelings frustrated,
I know not any peace,
Unknown is my disease.

And then,

A sudden gust of wind,
Passionately bursts in
And whispers in my ear -
“I have a gift from your dear!”

The gust mellows down to a breeze,
Caressing my lips with silken ease,
Oh! For aeons have I awaited this,
My love has sent me a fervent kiss.
